Accessibility and inclusion
Access and inclusion have been integral to the planning, design and delivery of the suburb of Sydney Olympic Park and its hosting of the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Authority is committed to continuing this legacy.
We want to ensure that, as far as possible, the needs of people with a disability and more broadly of those with any kind of participation limitations are met so that everyone can use the Park independently, equitably and with dignity.

Paralympic and disability sports
Sydney Olympic Park played host to the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games and 2019 Invictus Games. The precinct is home to a number of Disability and Paralympic sports organisations.

Disability Inclusion Action Plan
Our Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2019-22 (DIAP) sets out to improve participation and inclusion opportunities for people with disabilities.
In developing this plan, the Authority has sought community feedback and input on access and inclusion through surveys, workshops and event activations. The Authority has engaged with a number of community service organisations and with our venues and businesses based in Sydney Olympic Park to develop the strategies in this plan.
