Work permits

Any person planning to undertake works on Sydney Olympic Park land is required to submit a Work Permit Application Form. Work permits are required to ensure that all works across the precinct are conducted safely and coordinated. Depending on the scope of works, you may also be required to submit additional forms found below.

All applications must be submitted at least 10 working days in advance with all supporting paperwork. Sydney Olympic Park Authority assesses requests based on the scope of work, time frames, traffic implications and other proposed activities such as events and other approved works.

There is no fee for a work permit to be issued, however, other fees may apply if other services are required, including hoarding, road openings or road occupancy.

Works on or near road

Any person wishing to undertake works on a road or next to a travelling lane will need to submit a Traffic Guidance Scheme or Traffic Management Plan, depending on the scope of works, to support the Occupancy Permit application.

Depending on the scope of works a Pedestrian Management Plan may also be required for works on footpaths.

TGS/TMP will be reviewed with your application, and assessed based on the impact to the community, other works, or events. Restrictions may be imposed to minimise impact. Fees noted above will apply.
