  • The fitness station at Bicentennial Park will remain closed until further notice for safety reasons. Please check back for updates.

  • Sydney Royal Easter Show: Road closures and information 

    Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025 takes place in the Park between Friday 11 April – Tuesday 22 April. 

    Fencing infrastructure and road closures begin 28 March. 

    Please note Wentworth Common will be closed from Friday 4th April to Friday 25th April. 

    There are a number of road closures designed for safety and movement of large crowds and traffic. Please read the information carefully as there are changes to usual conditions that our local community would be familiar with.

  • Brickpit Ring Walk - Access Changes  
    Due to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, access to the Brickpit Ring Walk will change as follows:

    Fri 28 March – Thurs 3 April: only accessible via Marjorie Jackson Parkway entry
    Fri 4 April – Thurs 24 April: Fully closed
    Fri 25 April – Wed 30 April: only accessible via Marjorie Jackson Parkway entry

  • Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 – Enabling Works

    Works will continue on the Parramatta River, on Waratah Street, Mary Street and Wharf Road in Melrose Park, and on Louise Sauvage Pathway and Footbridge Boulevard and Hill Road in Wentworth Point. These works may involve footpath closures resulting in pedestrian and cyclist detours with traffic controllers on site. Cyclists may need to dismount at some detour locations. There may also be noise from machinery and equipment. More information.

  • Changed Parking Conditions in the Parklands – Stage 2

    Changed parking conditions in the parklands will be extended to the carparks which service Wentworth Common and the Archery Centre. This is currently scheduled for implementation mid 2025 and will involve the same technology and metering approaches as Bicentennial Park, Blaxland Riverside park and P5b and P5c  carparks. Updates will be posted on our mySOP Engage project page.
