  • Noise Notifications:

    Saturday 23 November: Pearl Jam Dark Matter World Tour will be held at Engie Stadium on 23 Saturday November. The event will start at 5:00 pm and cease at approximately 10:45 pm both days. Intermittent amplified sound may be heard through this time. Pyrotechnics and lasers may also feature as part of the entertainment. Some intermittent amplified sound will occur on 20 Wednesday November and both event days prior to gates open for sound testing. 

  • DFO Black Friday traffic: Please be advised that these sales can delay entry to and exit from the Park along Australia Avenue at the Homebush Bay Roundabout. The busiest period is likely to be Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December. Consider alternate routes where possible.

Sydney Metro West - Traffic changes on Herb Elliot Avenue

Another two tunnel boring machines (TBMs) from Rozelle arrived at Sydney Olympic Park in early October 2024.

To facilitate oversized machinery and equipment removal from site, the following traffic changes will be in effect from Monday 28 October 2024:

  • A number of parking spaces have been temporarily removed on Herb Elliott Avenue and will be reinstated on Friday 20 December 2024.
  • A stop/slow traffic arrangement will be in effect on Herb Elliott Avenue from 8pm to 5am on select nights.
