Changed parking conditions in the parklands
Sydney Olympic Park is changing the parking conditions for parkland areas to improve the experience for visitors and to support the ongoing management of the parklands.
From February 2025, there will be new parking conditions in Bicentennial Park, Blaxland Riverside Park and Parklands Junction P5b (URBNSURF) and P5c (Pump Track and BMX Track).
You must register your vehicle plate number to receive the first 2 hours of parking for free, then a parking fee will apply:
- $3 per hour fee on weekdays, and
- $5 per hour fee on weekends.

- Busy night for the Park - Monday 3 March
The Park will be busy on Monday night with a combined crowd of around 50,000 people expected for Green Day and the Kylie concert at nearby. Trains will run directly from Central and from Western Line Stations to Olympic Park. There will be road closures as well as pedestrian congestion. Please check the road closures map for these dates and plan accordingly. - Noise Notification - Monday 3 March
Please be advised the event ‘Green Day – The Saviors Tour’ will be held at Engie Stadium, on Monday 3 March. The event will start at 5pm and cease at approximately 10:45pm. Intermittent amplified sound may be heard throughout this time. Pyrotechnics & lasers may also feature as part of the entertainment. Some intermittent amplified sound will occur on Sunday 2 March and on the event day prior to gates open for sound testing. Parking within the Town Centre at Sydney Olympic Park will be significantly reduced from Thursday 27 March until Thursday 1 May. In addition, P5c will be in major event mode between Tuesday 8 April to Friday 25 April. - Road restoration works on Bennelong Parkway
Thursday 6 March: Work will be completed during the day with stop/go marshalls to redirect traffic safely. Carpark B on Marjorie Jackson will be occupied for the entire day for plant and vehicles to unload/offload materials. - Landscaping works
Louise Sauvage Pathway/Avenue of Oceania
In March, the area along the Louise Sauvage Pathway, from the M4 to Holker Street and the intersection of Hill Road and Avenue of Oceania, will be revamped. The work will include removing weeds, mulching garden beds, thinning overgrown plants, pruning broken branches, and removing dead trees. - Work on footpaths over the next month
There will be trenching works along the footpath outside 5 Olympic Blvd from Tuesday 11 February through to the end of March. Also starting shortly, there will be trenching work around Murray Rose Ave/Bennelong Pkwy/Parkview Dr. Pedestrian access will be maintained in all areas. - Traffic Disruptions for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2
This stage will connect Parramatta CBD to Sydney Olympic Park. Site investigations will continue in February 2025. Work will occur on Waratah Street, Mary Street, Wharf Road, Ermington Boat Ramp, the parking lot in Melrose Park and Newington Nature Reserve including Louise Sauvage Pathway and Hill Road in Wentworth Point. Working hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. There may be temporary lane closures and removal of parking as well as pedestrian and cyclist detours.
