Notice of Proposal to Grant a Licence under s32 (12A) of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001 (NSW)
Pursuant to section 32(12A) of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001 (NSW), Sydney Olympic Park Authority proposes to grant a licence, to Urbn Surf (Sydney) Pty Ltd ABN 18 610 911 129 over POD B, P5 Car Park, Sydney Olympic Park.
Submissions are invited from persons who wish to comment on the proposal. The proposed licence referred to in this notice will not be entered into before all submissions relating to this proposal have been duly considered.
Land
The site is known as Pod B P5 Carpark, Hill Road, SOP, and is legally identified as comprising a portion of Lot 71 in DP 1191648. The site is quadrilateral in shape, and has an area of approximately 31,543m², with a frontage to Hill Road of 202m, and the Holker Busway of 157m.
Purposes for which the land will be used under the proposed licences.
The premises will be used for:
- An open water surf sport lagoon facility and any uses reasonably ancillary to an open water surf sports lagoon facility which may include a retail shop, café, gym, event/function centre.
Term of the proposed licences
3 years, commencing 6 April 2024 and expiring 5th April 2027.
