Olympic circuit
Distance: 7.6 km
Riding time: 50 minutes
Difficulty: Moderate. Suits adults and children 5+ years
Starting point: Olympic Park Station
Ride past some of Sydney Olympic Park’s famous landmarks such as Stadium Australia, the Olympic Cauldron at Cathy Freeman Park and the Games Memories poles installation, a tribute to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
River Heritage circuit
Distance: 11 km
Riding time: 70 minutes
Difficulty: Moderate. Suits adults and children 7+ years
Starting points: Woo-la-ra carpark, Olympic Park station or Wilson Park
Challenge yourself with this 11km ride along the Parramatta river. This circuit takes you through the heritage of Newington Amory and neighbouring woodlands. The trail continues through wetlands, finishing with the spiral trail of the Haslam’s Creek Marker. Finish with a panoramic view of the entire Park and city skyline.
Parklands Circuit
Distance: 5.5 km
Riding time: 60 minutes
Difficulty: Low. Suits adults and children 5+ years
Starting point: Bicentennial Park
A circuit for nature lovers. Ride around the edge of Lake Belvedere and continue out to the Badu Mangroves boardwalk. Ride on to the Bird Hide and Waterbird Refuge - a highlight for bird-lovers and look out for the historic shipwrecks which now rest in the bay.
Children’s loop at Bicentennial Park
Relax at Bicentennial Park and watch your children pedal around the children’s loop as you utilise any of the free amenities close by, such as playgrounds and picnic areas.
