Australian athletes who attain the status of Olympic Champion, World Champion or World Record Holder in the FINA events of Swimming, Diving, Water Polo and Synchronised Swimming are recognised in the Path of Champions
The Path of Champions also honours outstanding Australian swimmers who have won gold medals at Paralympic Games since 2000. The swimmer who contributed the most outstanding performance at each Games is selected for inclusion by the Paralympic Committee.
The Path of Champions is located at the front entrance to the Aquatic Centre.
